I think that the short sellers drove the market down too far with their ability to raise funds. Two or more players could really destroy the value of a good company, while wrecking many investors. The abilty to short sell any stock is good but it needs to be limited some way to allow the long investor to bail,at some loss, without a compleat wreck of the system. I think that the old uptick rule worked well for many years. Thank you
