Please institute controls on short selling.
I believe the uptick rule should be reinstated. Use a cents per-share move to replace the 1/8 that used to work (.20 or a 10% whichever is higher is my idea).
It is also important in my eyes to make sure the stock that is short is married to a long stock... borrow shares from margin accounts.
Transparency and confidence that the markets work for all investors, small and large is the feeling we should all have. Please do the research and make the rules smart and transparent.
