I urge you to reinstate the uptick rule and ban naked short selling. My broker requires me to own the stocks I might short (I don't short), why should the same rules not apply to everyone? The motives of those who would seek to leave things as is are highly suspect. They and their cronies have raped the American public by stealing trillions of dollars from our pension funds. You have it within your power to help restore integrity and transparency in the marketplace upon which so much of our future retirement investments depend. Christopher Cox was a do-nothing Chair whom I view as a traitor to America's future and commissioners that have hung over from his tenure should be removed as incompetent and their conflicts of interest exposed and punished.
Chairman Schapiro, I have heard you speak and I believe you are trying to do the right thing. Please don't succumb to the special interests and their pseudoscientific gobbledygook. You are in a noble fight and your cause is just.
