1. Re-institute the "uptick rule".
2. Eliminate the Market Maker exemption to naked short shares.
3. Require a bona-fided "borrow" before permitting short selling.
4. ENFORCE existing laws.
5. Require T+3 for EVERYONE... long and short.
6. Require short sellers to file the same forms as required of long buyers.
7. Require Brokers to buy-in T+3 and FTD buys and/or sells.
How about protecting and leveling the playing field for the Average Joe investor by just doing your job to the best of your ability and by simply enforcing the laws?
