Please reinstate the uptick rule as it was.I do not want to see a mamby pamby version of it.I understand that there were a lot of other things that contributed to the past problems of the market.The removal of the uptick rule certainly did not help.I know of friends and family members who have taken everything they had invested in the market out,and said they would never invest in the market again.
