Madame Chairwoman and members of the SEC,

I strongly urge you to return to the "uptick" rule regarding short selling, and not some diluted version, either. It served us well for 70 years and was a big factor in last year's disaster. We saw a change when the SEC returned it for financials during the summer of '08. Further, there should be a crackdown on the so-called "naked short selling," which is selling something you don't even possess. In any other situation it would be called "fraud." I am an individual investor, not associated with any financial agency. I am a teacher who uses the internet for transactions. Again, I beg you to correct these two grievous errors.
