I would like the SEC to reinstate SEC Rule 10a-1, the Uptick Rule. As a retail investor, I feel as though my time has been wasted doing due diligence in the stock market when larger entities such as brokerage houses and hedge funds prefer to use the stock market for gambling. There is a difference between investing and trading. I believe in investing in American businesses for the long-term to support our economy, not just making a fast buck. We cannot have unbridled capitalism. People get hurt. I also, believe it is the SEC's responsibility to help protect investors like me, not just appease the large institutional firms.
