As a retired person, I have seen first hand what the abolition of the uptick rule has done to my retirement fund. The SEC MUST re-instate the uptick rule in its entirety. Not a modified version. The short sellers have wiped out my dreams of a happy retirement. Please, I plead with you to not let this continue to happen. Don't be swayed by rich and powerful Hedge Funds or Academics that have an agenda. Listen the the little guys and look at our statements and see our retirement, 401 K, pension and annuities cut in half.
