The SEC should reinstate the original uptick rule, which worked well for decades and was eliminated due to special interest pressure on a corrupt SEC. The excuse that the software will not permit the reinstatement of the original rule is ridiculous. REINSTATE THE ORIGINAL UOPTICK RULE.
