Well, next week will tell the tale.
I have read enough of the letters regarding reinstatement of the original "Up Tick Rule" to know that there is overwhelming support for reinstating the "Up Tick Rule" in the original form that served the US stock market so well for seventy years.
There are many "statistical studies" proffered by egg heads at the behest of their funding sponsors that object to the "Up Tick Rule" citing various reasons against its re-imposition or at best imposing a re-jiggered version.
Will our system support the investing public or the cash cows that support the egg heads?
My money is on the egg heads. After all we have the best government money can buy
