THANK YOU for reconsidering the uptick rule. I hope and pray that you will re-instate this market-stabilizing rule as soon as possible. Please take a look at the VIX (volatility index) and what happened after hedge fund interests got rid of the uptick rule... chaos. I think reinstating this rule will provide some much needed stability. Of course, companies will still fail - but the bear raids won't be so easy.
Thanks again - and I hope to see the rule reinstated soon.
