You need to re institute the uptick rule NOW. Shorts are destroying people's lives, savings, and hope for any kind of reasonable future. And, the can destroy a company in minutes. If you do not put the uptick rule in place immediately you are condoning the mass destruction that is going on and you are part of the problem and not offering any solution. The actions of the Bush SEC have been horrific, please now take action to restore some sort of financial system that people can be confident in.
