Please, now that you have a new chairwoman consider reinstating the uptick rule. As a small investor I believe this would stop the hedge funds and other large investors from destroying the price of companies for their own benefit.
The last time I wrote about this I got a very nice reply that said you studied this issue and found
no evidence that it was adversely effecting stock prices. I think that if you want to restore the
confidence of investors then you should make this change.
