I'm curious if Mary Schapiro is planning to show up to her job this year.
Does she not grasp the damaging affect that short traders and hedge funds are having on the financial industry and their ability to get private investors back in the market?
Why would a private investor buy common stock when they know it can be manipulated at any time!!!
See Bank of America for proof.
She needs to ban the practice of shorting financials for a period of 90 days then reinstitute the uptick rule.
