Please re-implement the uptick rule in some form. I am sick of my retirement nest egg being demolished by unethical institutional investors bear raiding stocks to instill fear in the markets. The excuse that it is more difficult to implement with stocks trading in pennies rather than eighths is only an excuse regarding the implementation, and can be overcome with a little creativity. The reason for the uptick rule still stands now as it has for the last 70 years. I am writing my senator and house of representative regarding this issue as well.
