I'll make this short and sweet as I'm sure everyone at your agency is swamped with the current economic situation we are facing. However, I'm begging you as a normal investor to please, PLEASE investigate the abnormal and illegal practice of naked short selling. It would help all of us fight the hedge funds who are ruining the market, and removing all the confidence that is left in these difficult conditions. I realize that congress must make the decision to re-instate the uptick rule, but if can we can get some help from you folks on prosecuting these illegal naked short sales, it would make a huge difference to all of us who invest ethically and firmly believe in the capital market system.
I appreciate what everyone is doing in your organization. Thank you for taking the time and I look forward to positive changes in the future.
