Please bring back the Proposed uptick rule. The original uptick rule helped to manage the markets for 70 years and when removed in the heart of a bull market in July of 07 we witnessed the catastrophic implications of not having the rule in place during the bear market that followed.
The ETF exception rule needs to be reviewed as well. To give consideration to triple short ETF's without proper margin requirements is also a major market concern.
