Modified uptick rule or alternative uptick rule??? You decide. We know why the orginal uptick rule was put in place during the late 1930's and in the average investor's mind the restriction was effective. It served it's purpose. The average investor can't understand why it would be tampered with or taken away. Give us a break, put back whichever uptick rule you feel will be most effective and please post an explantion of your choice in language the average investor can understand. We have more votes than the hedge fund managers and Cramer is keeping us informed.
