How about regulating derivatives and short sales. At one time you could only short on an up tick. Both of these are a bet on failure. We know that derivatives had a huge part in the market downturn. Let's do something about them. Someone invented them, someone can eliminate them. Let's have the SEC do their job. They've been too lax for too long, and anyone who has any stock has suffered horribly because of it.
