As a retiree trying to make ends meet, I use cash from my IRA. I have seen my income diminshed by over $5,000 per year due to the actions of short sellers. I have read in the news and finanical papers where certain fund managers took great pride in running the price of stocks way down. I don't mind taking risks, but make the playing field fair and equitable for all investors(large, or small).
Please implement the short sale uptick rule ASAP.
