I fully support the above bid short selling rule. I have no impressive finanial credentials, but I can plead to you on behalf of average Americans. I am a project engineer that makes a good living, however, projections for providing for my own retirement now look dismal. We average investors cannot compete with those who make a living playing funny games with money. We provide food, goods, and services that ALL people need. We do not have the time or the resources to play these financial games, and get punished for it in apparently manipulated markets. We cannot prove this, but we feel that this is the case. Please do what is in your power to protect the average citizens of our country as they save for retirement.
