I have a questions about the elimination of the uptick rule.At different location on the web and on various cable channel shows, statements were made to the effect that the elimanation of the uptick rule and naked short selling has alowed speculators to control individual stocks to the detrement of the general public.
Please advise me of any statements and or position papers issued by the SEC regarding this issue.
As a senoior citizen it's frightning to think that our saving invested in stocks could be manapulated by a small group of insiders.
