Investors need more confidence that the SEC is on the side of long term investors and not Market Makers, Hedge funds and Day Traders. We NEED THE UPTICK RULE to be Reinstated ASAP. The volatile up and down swings have been more exaggerated without the Uptick Rule. Christopher Cox was detrimental in eliminating this rule and contributing to this massive market meltdown. It is up to you and Obama Administration to restore market order by closer regulation of Wall Street and the reinstating the Uptick Rule would be an easy step towards that goal.
