Dear Chairman Mary Schapiro,
The suspension of the uptick rule was a monumental error of the last Administration. The financial markets have been severely affected. The stocks of sound companies have been damaged, pension funds and personal savings have been decimated, etc.
The question is... to whose gain
It is time to put in place sensible rules to protect average Americans and their savings. Please reinstate the uptick rule before irreversible damage is done.
