I am hoping that you will soon reinstitute the "uptick" rule because it will work against short sellers who do nothing but gamble every day and who do not invest. I am an individual investor in an IRA brokerage account and I have lost over $100,000 since June 2007 since the partial collapse of the stock market and I believe that part of this was due to short sellers doing nothing but ratcheting down the value of stocks and squeezing out value through shorting.
