Please find the wisdom to reinstate the uptick rule. The removal of this rule has caused a great deal of volatility in the market and only short sellers have profited. It shouldn?t be legal to say you will sell a stock at a later date for a reduced price (selling short) without owning or having bought an option to buy the stock. I can't imagine that anyone with the hindsight of what has happened since July 6, 2007 would not be in favor of this regulation.
