I am extremely proud and pleased with the new chairperson Shapiro, however I can't understand why there is such delay on the obvious.
Today is a great example of what happens when uncontrolled short selling does to further destroy markets, and drive people from their positions creating more damage.
Please put the "uptick" rule in effect immediately and then decide whether to keep it but don't hesitate on an action that can only help this economy.
