Dear Sec:
Here is the situation: if you don't reinstate the uptick rule and the markets crash it will be your fault, I guarantee it.
If we want the markets to go up, like all clean living Americans should, then why not instate a double uptick rule? There have to be two upticks in a row before a downtick is allowed. At least discuss this with the press and if you then decide on a single uptick you will be playing the middle of your options, or governing from the middle like the Pres. wants to.
