I would like to encourage you to return to the uptick rule(Rule 10a-1) that had been in effect for the past 70 years. The discontinuation of this rule has made Bear Raids easy to accomplish and amount to legalized theft using the stock market to accomplish.If any of the other choices that you are considering would be even more positive than the uptick rule then I would favor that choice.You have to put an end to the legalized theft that dropping the uptick rule has allowed to happen.
