Dear Chairman Schapiro,
Please reinstate the uptick rule.
It is too late to undo the damage already done to the markets by those who have used its demise to demolish many companies, particularly the mining shares, however you can prevent future damage and restore some stability and trust in the market by reinstating the uptick rule.
