I was a broker for a major firm for 35 years. And, I know that the uptick rule was instrumental in slowing major sell offs. My first experience occur during the Cuban missile crisis in 1962. I've seen the power of this rule work time and time again.\
Please reinstate this rule and help us to return to more orderly markets.
