Dear Chairman Mary Schapiro,
In my opinion, one of the many errors in judgment of the last Administration was the withdrawal of the uptick rule. It has led to unnecessary ravages in the financial markets.
All stocks have been hurt by this. Pension Funds, our personal savings and much more have been decimated. There is no need for us now to continue living with this error. It's time to create rules that protect the average American and our savings.
Please reinstate the uptick rule before it is too late.
