Dear Chairman Mary Schapiro,
Please please please reinstate the uptick rule. It has caused countless good companies,
pension funds, personal savings accounts and the like to be destroyed. Please don't be swayed
by the Hedge Funds, they have damaged the economy enough. As an average American, my
life savings and retirement have been significantly damaged because there was no uptick rule
to protect the true value of these companies.
We look for your guidance and a firm hand in this matter. Please reinstate the uptick rule before
more damage is done.
