To the SEC:
It is my opinion that without the Uptick rule short sellers have been able
to gang up on individual stocks, use any news or event to trigger excessive
punishment on the stock price of a company that benefits greedy speculators
and day traders. Only restoring the Uptick rule can forestall the stampede of
short selling that hurts companies, and long term investors and delays the revival of
the US economy. Please permanently restore the Uptick rule for all short selling
on all stock trades.
