I am in favor of reinstating the complete uptick rule as was in place prior to its removal in 2007. There is no need for modification. The abusive, manipulative naked short selling was a direct result of removing the uptick rule and I hold the SEC heavily responsible for the massive wealth destruction in the stock markets over the last 2 years.
