I am in favor of the up tick rule as they created it after the last market crash in the 1930's.
In fact I can think of no other market where people who
don't own something are allowed to sell it. The idea that
they can make bets on something going down and then trash it to make money should be illegal. I don't understand why it is not illegal and why you have not jailed someone for it. I have heard the arguement that people make a living doing this and that's why it's OK. The fact that they make their money by killing our retirement plans should not be OK. I expect you will see some major backlash on this once more voters figure it out. When we have a Government of the People and not the market manipulators please send me an e-mail letting me know about the change.
