The demise of Bear Stearns and Lehman at least partially due to short sellers...and bear raid tactics
How can you ignore so many comments re: short selling by even professionals and not rush to do game changing rules modifications....just as you did to change them for the benefit of a few not long ago...
If you are worried now about the consequences....look at what has happened since the last time you changed rules.
