I was concerned 20 years ago when I started saving in a 403b, that the money would end up with the sharks on the East Coast. But now I realize that it takes more than aggressive, grasping sharks. It also takes passive, trusting folks on the East Coast like myself -- like the leadership at the SEC who allow this type of travesty to happen. Don't eat with them and go to their functions. Eat at the little Italian cafeteria near Battery Park and take your kids (or someone else's kids) to a baseball game. Ignore these people when you aren't investigating them. Hire the best brains you can get and make them acquire backbones. I will not leave you alone until you take action.
