I was out of the market for quite awhile because of the wild volatility.
I am again in the market investing my retirement money. This uptick rule is essential to the market to stop short selling from hammering down prices on stocks.
I have worked my entire life saving money since I was 9 years old and I need to have my money SAFE in the market without people hammering down stock prices without the protection of this uptick rule.
Please reinsate this uptick rule just as it was without any changes to the uptick rule. From what I understand from several experts, the rule needs to be reinstated just as it used to be for protection of many of us approaching retirement, and everyone else who invests in the market.
