I would like to express my concern the abuses of short selling. Reinstating the uptick rule, would in my opinion, help stablize the market and also make it more predictable. Institutions have enough money to send a great stock into the ground so they can make a quick dollar. This is absurd and is a key contributor in keeping the market from rebounding. We need healthy markets at this time of financial crisis, not instability.
