As an individual investor I find the fact that we have to even discuss the merits of reinstating the uptick unbelievable. It should be put back immediately If you want the average investor to have any confidence in the market place this rule is vidal. Please base your decision on 70 plus years of success and not the last few of failure. I also wish to request it be reinstated as it once was and not in some hybred form to appease those who can take advantage of such a ruling.
