Please reinstate the uptick rule. It helped prevent a repeat of the great depression. That is, until the rule was eliminated by our 'enlightened economic gurus' a few years back. Seems like we nearly had another depression as a result. And the story is not over, so who knows.
It is somewhat bewildering that such incompetent shortsighted people could have been in charge of the SEC recently. I trust things have changed. No, I pray things have changed. I only wish I could trust
