I support reinstatement of a permanent, market-wide uptick rule. As a government employee, I watched helplessly as short-sellers decimated the financial sector of my TSP fund, putting my retirement in jeopardy. Subsequently, I have learned how this happened and how the SEC permitted this travesty.
Please consider the millions of American savers whose future is put at risk by the traders who profit from unchecked short-selling. We have suffered enough already.
