I am writing to support reinactment of the "uptick rule'IN the same form as it existed prior to the BUSH/COX era when special interests were able to manipulate a stock and possibly destroy a major portion of the companies equity. Brokers like the hihn volume but without the rule, but confidence and integrety is lost for individual investors who manage our own accounts. Please put some honor back in the SEC.Removing the uptick rule enabled loss of wealth, destroyed sound retirement funds, and caused many of us to lose faith in the integrety and judgement of leaders who were supposed to be looking out for us and our great country.--Please restore the"uptick rule" as it existed since the depression era. IT WASNT BROKE SO DONT TRY TO FIX IT. THANK YOU-Norman H.fOSTER
