Madam Chairwoman,
I am asking you to please reinstall the uptick rule. If the uptick was in place in the last two years, I would not have lost most of my life savings and had to watch my 401K and my retirement accounts be whittled down to nothing. The uptick rule was in place to help the stock market keep moving up and helping the middle class like me earn more money in the companies that we are investing in.
Please reinstate the uptick rule.
