The SEC as an institution has turned a blind eye to market manipulation. A combination of naked short selling (an illegal trade) and removal of the up-tick rule has caused absolute havoc with our markets. For the SEC to allow this to happen is a matter of gross negligence in my honest opinion. As a result, billions of dollars have been bilked from honest Americans that believed in our free market system.
SEC, it's time to correct this deplorable situation. You just have to do what's right starting immediately.
