-Please reinstate the uptick rule. The stock market was devised as a way to raise capital for companies so they could expand and grow. The stock market is not supposed to be a table for craps shooters. It is a place for the average person who works hard and saves his money to invest for the long term in hopes his investment will grow along with the company he invested in.
