Please consider reinstating the "uptick rule". This rule has served the financial community of investors well for many years, by balancing the interests of parties involved. Reinstating this measure would promote market stability and improve investor confidence. Since the sale price restriction has been removed, short selling has significantly contributed to the decline of investment value, and investor confidence.
