As I understand things, there was a short sale rule in effect for 70 years and it was discarded. Now we have financial chaos. I say we reinstate the rule that apparently worked well for 70 years. No half way or modified measures should be considered, that just provides loop holes for the kind of crooks that got us into this mess in the first place.
