Please simply reinstate the uptick rule as it was
created after the depression. The people who put
it in place spent so much time figuring out what
happened to bring about the great depression.
Just put it back. It worked fine.
The merciless, irresponsible shorting has destroyed
wealth of families in their 401K's all over the
country.
I don't understand why this is so hard to figure
out.
Of course the shorts want to keep it. I say that
they don't get a vote, having ravaged our market
in the last year+
Thanks so much for listening. I applaud Ms Schapiro
for her openness to this possiblity... To restore
sanity and saftely to a market that has become
a traders market, dangerous for the average person,
and where do "regular" people put our money for
savings and some growth to keep up with inflation?
